Details |
COVID-19, has become a universal threat to public health. During the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, overstrained healthcare systems in severely affected countries left healthcare workers fighting with prolonged work hours, intense emotional stress, and fatigue. Speedily declining resources, lockdowns, and a high demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) led to shortages. Most studies reported enhanced risks for health professionals who care for COVID-19 patients. Based on previous respiratory virus experience, consistent PPE use is essential for managing nosocomial transmission. According to the published articles, many healthcare professionals have been infected with COVID-19 internationally and have even died as a resultn |
