Details | The Pharmacy in Primary Care programme is aimed at hospital-based pre-registration pharmacists to aid their learning of the Community Pharmacy contract and provision of unscheduled care in the community. The programme will also introduce trainees to the role of the General Practice (GP) Pharmacist.
Objectives
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
• Describe the general set-up of a community pharmacy
• Identify members of the community pharmacy team
• Provide a high-level outline of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework
• List the essential services set out in the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework
• Describe how they benefit patients
• List the advanced and enhanced services set out in the CPCF |
