| Details | PID is basically inflammation of upper reproductive system of a women presenting with pelvic pain, abnormal vaginal discharge,fever, abnormal bleeding, dyspareunia and infertility, approx 15% of couple experiences infertility, Tubal factors about 25 -35%, the risk of tubal infertility increase with recurrent PID and after 3 episodes more than 50% of women have tubal dysfunction, most leading organism being Chlamydia trachomatis and gonorrhea infection so proper check up and triple antibiotic and laparoscopy Incase of tubal factors. |
