Details | This session explains how to undertake a comprehensive risk assessment, by obtaining a comprehensive history from the patient and informants where possible. It aims to help you develop the skills required to weigh up the information collected and decide on the most appropriate method for managing the care of a self harming patient and reducing the risk of further self harm.

• Competently complete a thorough risk and needs assessment following an act of self harm
