Activity Title | The potential impact of age, gender, body mass index, socioeconomic status and dietary habits on the prevalence of dental caries among Egyptian adults: a cross-sectional study |
Details | Dental caries is the progressive destruction of the tooth structure by bacterial acids. Data on the incidence of dental caries among Egyptian adults are scarce and are mostly grey literature, which makes this data hard to find. The last published report for the prevalence of caries among Egyptian adults was carried out by the World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Health in 2014. Therefore, the current study was carried out to investigate the prevalence of caries among Egyptian adults in correlation with different risk factors. |
