Details	Convenes weekly to discuss the targeted interventions for the leading causes of maternal and perinatal mortality and share best practices in implementing MPDSR. The meeting provides technical input towards “emerging” processes and issues in safe motherhood and, on a periodical basis, provides insights into the quality improvement interventions like Maternal Perinatal Death surveillance and response (MPDSR), along with comprehensive emergency obstetric-newborn care (EmONC) and Postnatal care (PC). IN THIS SESSION, OUR FOCUS WAS ON UNCOVERING HOW MASAKA REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL IS POSITIONING ITSELF AS A CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR MATERNAL AND NEWBORN HEALTHCARE CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI). WE DELVED INTO THE CHALLENGES AND PROMISES OF THEIR INNOVATIVE HUB AND SPOKE MODEL AND THEIR UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO ENHANCING HEALTHCARE IN THE GREATER MASAKA REGION.
